I don't think it's a mechanical issue within the engine itself. I think it has something to do outside of the engine physically, like low fuel pressure, bad O2 sensor(s), huge vac leak, etc. I just wish I wasn't 4 hours away from my truck so I could work on it.
Boss was cool enough to let me take his truck back home to Austin though, and Justin (black bear) was very helpful with his insight also.
BOSS... friday brotha. I'll be heading back up early Fri afternoon and might end up crashing at your place if we don't figure it out by Fri night.

I'm sure it's something simple you might have overlooked and you'll figure it out once you aproach it with a rested head.

You think BOSSMAN is gonna be able to sleep knowing your Hoe is in his garage? Kinda like when your sisters hot best friend is spending the night in the room next door and you can't sleep thinking why you just can't creep on into the room and hit it.:emotions122::emotions122:

Sorry Bobby had to do it..:laughing1::manos::bleh::bleh:

LMAO Chistoso good point, if his Hoe was in my garage I would be in there until it leaves looking at it and getting possible ideas.

Installed 2 new o2 sensors upstream...no luck, still goes lean. It runs around 14-15 for approximately 6 seconds, then goes 15,16,17,18+ each second till the AFR goes red. So it REALLY seems like some sort of pressure issue. We had looked over the entire engine Sunday - checking cables, hoses, clamps, fittings....but I did have a question that might be just me not knowing. I attached a pic of what I think is the brake boost hose. Is it supposed to be able to swivel where it clamps by the brake fluid reservoir?

I saw some things I never thought he had done, looks like new torsion bars maybe? I hate being under these gdamn trucks, I use two stands per side when I just lift up the front passenger side...I ain't going out like Ty LOL!

In fact, I spent so much time underneath that big ***** sunday/monday and today - I decided to order 6-ton jackstands.

Yes, that part swivels. And no, the torsion bars are the originals, just clean:)

I installed your new amplified antenna and halfway done with your window modules, btw.

Somethin's different damnit LOL! Did you paint the crossmember?

I'm tired...gunna idle that thing down to the shop for some diags tomorrow. It's funny, the engine doesn't do well rev'ing higher than 1200rpms. SO I just blurp idled it down the street to test the new o2 sensors...probably looks/sounds like I'm about to rocket off in a blaze of white smoke. Not yet young grasshoppa, not yet.

The slow rise to lean-ness is almost 95% the result of a vacuum leak. I am beginning to think that as the truck warms up, it is expanding a hose/gasket causing un-metered air to leak in. I would start checking gaskets and shit like that. Is it possible that the charger/head are not fully sealed?

On second thought, do you happen to have a spare MAF to try out? Reason being, you mention it doesn't like to be revv'd higher than 1200 and typically this is where the limp mode comes into play.
