So now Im working on the passenger side, theres some rust in the rear wheel well down behind the running board.Problem is bolts break off when I try to remove them.

Any ideas? I loosen slowly then go back tightening back and forth but they just snap.May have to find away to drill them out? Dont know. They have to come off though to fix the rust.

So had a look, assuming its the top horizontal bolt and the bottom closest to the underside that need to be removed. The latter ones I can spray from above so let that sit.Wish me luck, those horizontal top ones may be a *****.

No. I fly fish and all my flies I tie have a tungsten bead on them so they sink faster. Cheers
Ahh very cool, always loved fly fishing never tried though.

Good luck with your bolts. I wish I could help you out. May have more info later when I tackle my rockers. And my paint is starting to peel on my hood. Hit it with a pressure washer the other day and it went flying.

Well 8 of the 9 bolts came out pretty easy. One stubborn one. Gave it a wack and more spray. Still nothing. Arg. Gave it a bit more with my 3/8 drive ratchet and snap!!
Crap. Break out the drill. Managed to start a small hole not quite in the Center. 6F854605-8E95-438E-AF1A-60D1334FA09C.jpegOn with a bigger bit and haha. She dropped down. Yay!A2DF0455-405E-4E4B-99AB-F2816DC12EB4.jpegnothin too it. lol. It’s off.CDE84C11-8A8A-485F-AAE5-103CF6833F28.jpeg

What happened to the body?
I feel your pain, I can fit my hand in my rocker panel.
Ya sucks but better to try and slow it down some. The previous owner hand sanded these rusty areas and left it.Hopefully I can some what fix them.

Possible crackling also like a spider web. Also that re sanding in the future would be very difficult.
I tried the were sanding ans clear coat on the same exact lights. It looked AWESOME when the clear was wet.........then went to crap and spiderweb cracks everywhere when it dried. Don't waste your time with that. You'll end up going to 1AAuto like I did for new ones

True very true.
At the rate you're going, I don't think you'll have a problem fixing that. You're doing a great job. I need some of that inspiration over here haha. I sourced some rockers on eBay that I'll be ordering soon.
