yea that evo set it for me. once i saw it i was set on the red.
i wanna do dual projectors but might take to much work for me.

After seeing that evo, im thinking about the dual projector also. Just find another cheap depo set for the proj and put it in the highs, (dont use them much so should be ok) then getting a real hid proj. for the lows.

Wishing right now at least.. lol

i thought about that but im sure some fabrication would still have to be done.
if i did do that i'd run 2 par of 6k's 4hi mod and toss the ss valance on. that way i get all the extra light that i'd loose from not having fogs

i dont know.. maybe that would be to bright everyday lol

Fabrication surely would have to be done. But nothing is impossible. Just got to have the drive to do it. if i get some extra income, im going to do the retro and add another projector. I think having 4 would look cool and unique.

Hey Mike, when you painted the shields did you just undo the four screws for the projectors and slide them out?

Yep basically. Took off mounting bracket, then undid the four philps holding the back of the projector on. Then the shield is right there, just picked it up painted, dried, put back together. Also painted the bulb side flat black like whiteout said it actually is more crisper and defined looking.

Sweet. Sounds pretty easy. I'll have to do mine soon.

If u guys want, while u have shield off if u put a small washer between shield n lens, to move shield away from lens it makes cutoff line sharper at different lengths. Meaning, the closer shield is to lens, cutoff line is sharper close up. If further away from lens, sharper at distance. Hope that makes sense. I cant remember how many washers I ended up using, but I like my cutoff line sharper at more distance personally. Just another mod to think about
