ordered my mufflers last night, spintech 9000's, [email protected]". should be good and loud. they sound ridiculous on mr mobley's carbed 6.0. hopefully the bump in compression from the 243 heads i'm putting will make them pop pretty well.

Pulling the 350 and 4l60E was very smooth, but then again Branndon made it easy on us and pulled the entire front clip aside from fenders. So it was basically pick up, pull forward, and you're done. No worries about those Spintech's man, they will still scream. I'd expect yours to not be quite as deep down low and little bit more raspy up top though. If I get that industril pipeline water temp housing hooked up today I'll swing by and we can take a little ride.

noice. yeah, for the record, anyone who's looking for some loud ass exhaust that is mellow down low and just scream on top, check out the spintechs. mrmobley has the 3" spintech 9000's and i bought the 2.5" 9000's. i know it's still new and hasn't had any carbon buildup, but they just sound more metallic and mechanical than the magnaflows and flowmasters i've heard new. hard to explain. we'll have to post some sounds/vids, or at least i will when i get them installed. he's already got a couple i think, don't know if he's got them here or not.

All I have is an idle vid, when I run by tomorrow I'll let you romp on it and I'll record the deafening that ensues.

looks like i'm gonna try my hand at making a standalone harness. if you go to http://www.lt1swap.com/ there is a ridiculous amount of info on the site concerning the subject. http://www.lt1swap.com/2000harness.htm crazy how with a couple of relays and some solder you can make your own 3 or 4 wire setup. i've already labeled all my wires in my harness, now i gotta grow a pair and start cutting and splicing. but it looks like it won't be too bad. keep y'all posted.

This guide is for LSX into OBS http://www.ls1truck.com/forums/lsx-truck-conversions/9535-obs-lsx-conversion.html

And this should help as well.http://www.ls1truck.com/forums/lsx-truck-conversions/41136-obs-lsx-wiring-made-simple.html

My pleasure,I have been collecting info and I am in the early stages of planning a swap. And have been following your build thread from the beginning.

this is another good info thread for modding wiring harnesses. http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/2818847-post1.html
