i did end up having the BOV flange - i ordered it a while ago along with some tube. so i cut it into there kinda before the bend - probably wouldnt make a difference but didnt want to put it further into the bend and have all the psi rounding that corner pushing against the bov.
went by my buddys shop this morning to see if this crap would be welded this weekend or i was going to grab it and take it somewhere else (guy who's sposed to be welding works reg job there) he acted like it was getting done today so we'll see.

@Tonyrodz problems :beer:

i have other stuff i want to buy.

and its a little thing we got going on.... welder acts like he's superior cause he knows how to weld and i act like welding is beneath me (i just really suck at it)

Which is why those low-temp rods are ideal. Cheap and stronger than you'd ever need for an air duct.

Project Farm tested a bunch of brands and the HF ones were among the top few in strength and price. I was considering fixing my wheel with that. But, with it being a major structural item and the fact that I have a fabricator buddy that TIGs, I'd be an idiot to risk it. I prefer to be an idiot where it will only affect me.
