I will measure the space between the axle and bump stop and recheck spring PN.

I placed the lower spring insulator on top of the spacer before setting them on the axle spring perch, then the spring with the upper spring insulator. I followed the instructions below.

g) Carefully remove the OEM coil springs from their mounting locations (Photo 5). Retain the upper and lower spring insulators for later reuse.

h) Position the Belltech lowering coil springs in place of the OEM components (Photo 6). Be sure to install and locate the upper and lower insulators as removed above. If you are using the one inch spacer to reduce the amount of lowering, install them at this time to the bottom of the spring, on the axle spring mounting point.

Actually doesn't sound like a bad idea, doing a drop spindle and then fine tune the height on the shock. I'm just worried about the ride, I want the ride to be stock or just a touch firmer. That's what I read on here that the HD shocks would give me, but that's not the case.

if you want firmer than stock the belltech sp shock is not what youre looking for

Yeaj thats true I put hds on a older guys truck last week was way to stiff he said and I put in the belltech sp and he loved the ride. Softer and not jarring on bumps.

What rides good to one person wont to the other. Best way is to go with what feels good when riding to you

Well I was just responding to this guy because he's had stock setup and he wants stiffer.
The sp is way softer than stock.

Well instead of just pushing soft shocks on someone who noted he wants stiff shocks you could try to actually help rather than cause he another issue.
I never even said for him to keep bilsteins or try again or to get them. I just know the shocks you are pushing is not what he wants and he wouldn't know unless someone told him.
