Belltechs
Bilsteins
Stock blue
And
Z71 red.
The Belltechs are SOFTER than Stock Blue shocks........
Also they have a lot slower rebound. Meaning you push them in and they take LONGER to come back out.
I know this first hand. If anyone doubts it. They can go pitch a tent.
Nothing wrong with this...... just depends what you are looking for.

Sorry to break your shock measuring competition, but if you want to debate with each other, PM works great. I started this post to get some answers on why my set up is not working.
Moving along now, I got under the Yukon and this is what I found.
1. The springs, are PN: Belltech 5305-001.
2. The top 4-5 spring coils are sitting on each other and the last 2-3 are not.
3. The bump stop is sitting on the axle bracket on both sides.
It is my OPINION that the spring I have missed quality control at Belltech just like my misaligned shock extender.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT:
Sometime ago, about 11 years ago I purchased an under drive pulley kit for my 2001 Mustang GT. It was boxed in the correct box and stamped with the appropriate part number; however, the water pump pulley was not correct for my car.

The spring is exactly how it should be.
You just didn't change out the bump stops when you lowered the truck or you need to do the free travel mod.

Yes. That is how the springs are supposed to sit.
All touching and all...... except the 3-4 coils.
That is the reason the ride quality suffers a little ....... less "active" coils.

thats the right part number and they are progressive springs they have been like this since 2000 when the original 5305 spring came out. Can't wait to release my custom springs for the guys that want 3-4.
In rear you have a few choices you can get a 2 icnh spacer for the rear to bring it up 1 inch or you can cut the brackets off the frame and your ready to roll. On the 3-4 kits I usually cut off the brackets now on guys trucks so if its at 3 inches and you load it up you have travel.
