I have been thinking of doing the extra sensors, so I might as well do it all at once. I don't really like how the antenna mounts for the remote. It would be nice if it notified you when the alarm is activated, but its still better than the oem one.

+1 on this. I've been doing my homework on this as well, and plan to get this done in about 2 weeks. My truck is a 1LT with almost no options. I've been told by the dealer that I can install this myself, but still need them to reprogram the truck computer in order to recognize the remote. Letting them do the entire install is $160. Installing the kit myself and having them do the programming is $115. Either way, they're getting over $100 to install the advanced remote. As for the shock and inclination sensors, those are right after the remote start.

Okay so I'm still trying to get my head around how this functions.

Last night, I get back home, turn off the truck, and set alarm with the fob.

About ten minutes later I hear a rapid fire horn sound that lasts a few seconds where the horn sounds about 5-6 times at low tone. Then about an hour later same thing. Then I go to sleep so I'm not sure if it did it again and it hasn't done it since I woke up this morning.
