In the original cartoon "Speed Racer" the chimps name was chimchim, too close to chinchin. Anyone remember that?

So now I'm dealing with rounded nuts. I have a few options. 1) I can send this pan back and just order a stock one with a drain. No moving exhaust needed. 2) buy a deep socket extractor and pray. 3) cut the nuts off with a dremel, order new flange nuts, install pan.

I'm kinda leaning to option 1.

what a giant pain in the ass!

Oh man after all you're doing to this rig you'll probably always wish you'd installed that new deep pan and regret that you gave up on it. I say cut those damn nuts off. I use a cheap Harbor Freight 4" grinder with a cutoff wheel and I've cut all kinds of shit off my truck and it feels great every time I do. The local auto parts store probably has the flange nuts.
