So was changing the oil this weekend and went to check the suspension. Three of the four boots on the ball joints had split. The bushings looked like they were done for. In the interest of fixing with the least amount of expense I decided to order new, complete upper and lower control arms. I purchased the GM Pro stuff from Amazon. The upper control arms were half price so I went with them.
All pretty straight forward. What I do have a question about is while I am doing this is there anything I should do to the rear suspension while I am trading out all of the stuff up front? Has new shocks, springs and bump stops but what else should I go ahead and replace while I have it up in the air and am taking things apart?
