I think I’m just gonna leave it alone until this coming Thursday when I can get a new unit. Then we’ll see if it fixes the issue.

So do y’all think the wiring under the cup holder compartment in the center consul, or the wiring under the seat, or the wiring under the trim on the sides would have anything to do with the radio? because if water touched anything it was one of those three spots.

That’s why I’m nervous to just throw a new expensive touchscreen radio on it because what if I have the same issues with the accent lighting on that one?

I'm curious, do your other dash/cluster lights dim and brighten with the dimmer on or near the headlight switch? (I'm not all that familiar with the newer dashes, but it seems that the dimmer would also control the radio switch lights.)

Could you explain what you mean a bit more

Another update: doesn’t seem to take any power from the battery. I compared the voltage on crank over the course of 6 hours twice, one with the radio fuse and one without. Don’t notice any major difference
