Damn they look super skinny next to stockers. Interested to hear how they ride. Are all aftermarket shocks like that ?
Don't really know, but they better be better, or at least comparable. They are KYB's. I'll definitely keep you updated on ride quality. Anyone know where I can get a new bump stop from? I bet it's gonna be a pita too!

I should have just asked in here instead of making a new thread, have any of you used a sonnax boost valve? If so which one? I understand I should use the first gen for my 2001?

The jounce stops are gravy to replace. Put it up on jack stands, then just use a small prybar or flathead screwdriver to pop them out. They go in by hand with a twist.

Did my shocks today. Surprisingly all the shocks we're still good. Front end used to wallow. Saw the passenger front bump stop is split. View attachment 71742Had stock shocks all around. Putting the KYB's in we're a PITA! Got them all in tho. Was too late to take it for a test drive to see if the ride improved. Hopefully it was worth the time, effort and money. Btw- Anyone want the Sachs rear shocks? I'd hate to throw good shocks away. Fronts are a little rusty, but I think they're still good also. Free to anyone who wants to pick them up. Front and/or rears. Mailing would kill the free vibe. LolView attachment 71746
Your factory rear shocks look like Nivomat shocks. Do you have RPO code ZW7 in your glovebox?

I believe you need both RPO code G65 and ZW7 for the Nivomat shocks
