Sweet job budJust finished bleeding the new brakes a few minutes ago. I was very impressed with the Motive Products Power Bleeder. It made the job super easy.

Ive heard good things about the Motive. What did it set you back? I tried the vacuum one from HF and it failed miserably.Just finished bleeding the new brakes a few minutes ago. I was very impressed with the Motive Products Power Bleeder. It made the job super easy.

You must have gotten a bad one because I bought the same one when I did the front brake upgrade and it worked awesome!Ive heard good things about the Motive. What did it set you back? I tried the vacuum one from HF and it failed miserably.

I kept getting leaks around the bleeder valves themselves; I think pushing it from the master cylinder is a better design than pulling it from the bleeders. As soon as I loosened one enough to let fluid through it would suck air too. I tried using pipe tape around the bleeder valves and new bleeder valves but my rears were the original calipers and maybe the threads were worn. You must have gotten a bad one because I bought the same one when I did the front brake upgrade and it worked awesome!
Did you put grease around the bleeders? That should help seal them there.I kept getting leaks around the bleeder valves themselves; I think pushing it from the master cylinder is a better design than pulling it from the bleeders.
