Did this over the weekend, but got the final step done today...
Installed my drop kit (2/4 at the moment) and Spohn rear suspension over the weekend. Kit is originally a 3/5 kit, but I didn't install the keys up front, and added a 1" spacer out back...
I wasn't sure how low the 5" drop would look so I played it safe and added the spacer. Now I'm tempted to remove it when I go back in to cut the bump stop bracket off (which I should've done when everything was off). Also thinking of adding the keys to bring the front down another inch.
My only concern is that this truck is my daily driver and I don't know how well it'll be as far as handling and rubbing.
I'll drive it like this for a month or so then decide what to do.
Got the alignment done today.
Those are 26" wheels on 30 series tires.

Did the driver side hub and shield... It was screaming like a banshee. Pretty straight forward. Will do passenger side when new brake stuff gets here.

I'm going to be doing mine in a few days. How did you break the axle nut loose- on the ground before you tore everything apart? I saw A1 Auto torque them down afterwards by installing a wheel and lowering it down but they used an impact to break them loose.

Those wheels look killer in that silver finish. I've only seen them in chrome or black. Very nice

Painting the whole mirror assembly vs just the cap turns out so much cleaner.

I did the same and have been very happy with it since I had it done.

Nice work.
Can't remember, but did you disassemble your mirrors when painting?

I installed the new mirrors today, minus hooking up the turn signals and power fold wires.
I wanted to get a quick disconnect of some sort for the four extra wires. Turns out the only inexpensive way of doing that (and not getting a huge plug) is using a four-way plug meant for a trailer.

When I got them installed and was testing them for function, the passenger mirror still wasn't heating up the way it should (it'd only just barely noticeably get warmer in the middle of the mirror).

I checked the voltage at the plug on the door for the heating element and with the truck running, it only showed about 11.5v.
Makes me think that there might be a bad ground some place. If it turns out to be a bad ground, I can always re-ground it closer to the door.

I should receive the power fold switch in the next couple of days, so I'm hoping that can finish the mirror project Thursday.

These new mirrors also seem to tilt farther than the old ones, and I don't have to deal with the broken passenger mirror anymore. Even if I didn't do anything else, it is already an upgrade :D

An impact would've been nice (I think an electric one from HF is in my future). First, I had taken the wheel off and hit everything I needed to touch with PB the day before. When it came to the axle nut, I had seen arguments over the size, 36 or 35, mine is 35. I put a torch on it for a minute and used a piece of 1/2" rigid to hold it and about a 2' piece of 1" on my handle for leverage like this :

I just flipped it the opposite way to reinstall, and torqued to 135.

I didn't bother with the T55 caliper bolts. I compressed it with a C clamp, pulled the 2 18mm bracket bolts, and lifted the whole caliper assembly off in one piece.

Used the 2 wrench trick to crack the 3 15mm bolts for the hub, they came fairly easily. The hardest part was breaking the hub loose from the spindle. I shot the seam with PB, beat the hell out of it with a 3 lb sledge, and ended up using a cold chisel to help "walk" it out. I'm sure my neighbors loved it, I probably hit that thing 100 times.
