So I went to fix my rear AC temp issue by starting to replace the actuator. Went to test and had a dead battery... I had noticed weak voltage the week prior to starting this repair. Threw the battery charger on and went on to diagnosing that. Found a fried charging wire due to what I assume was from the "budget" alternator I put on last winter. This gave me an excuse to upgrade to a 240 amp Pure Power alternator, and finish my dual battery project that I started before quarantine. Finally with power I needed diagnosed that the rear ac module was faulty. Now, GM and Delco have since discontinued the rear ac module so the only alternative is a used unit or a Dorman
. Opted to go with the Dorman, works for now and have rear temp adjustment, and all the juice to power it.
