And got my painted parts back from the paint booth today..! Finally, I can put these on and they match!
Still working on the brake calipers.. a bit more sanding and then I’ll paint them. (Thanks again @Rocket Man!)
Moving more slowly than I’d like on her. Just discovered my civic likely needs a head gasket.. [emoji3525]
Ok so.. when I use VHT, or any dressing type stuff on the window trim, I have so much trouble with it getting on the glass. I have to clean the glass over and over, to get the stuff off of it. I need a better way! Tips are appreciated @Fosscore, @adventuredenali92, I’m looking at you guys for pro tips...! [emoji851]
I know, the correct solution, is to rid myself of the trim around he rear glass.. it’s on the list. [emoji16] ...but the side rear windows will still have it.. what am I doing wrong. [emoji3061]

That’s the only thing I’ve come up with, but damn. What a PITA for a cleanup that really doesn’t last long.. probably the best option though.Mask the glass off with tape!
What he said x2!Like and don’t like.
I just use 1/4 of a small microfiber cloth folded carefully into quarters again so it’s super small and use the folded edge at the edge of the plastic so I can cut a fine line next to the glass or paint and I put a small amount on the rag at a time. That’s the only thing I’ve come up with, but damn. That sounds like a good plan. I could slop a little less on! I guess you could also use some flat plastic tools like bondo spatulas, insert one between the trim and glass or just hold it to the edge of the trim. Kind of like when you’re painting and use a trim tool instead of tape. That sounds like a good plan. I could slop a little less on! [emoji1787]
