So, I remember reading about people needing to relocate the ambient temp sensor, after installing the Tru-Cool 40k… I didn’t see any need after the cooler install, as my temps were within 1° of actual.
However, after the efan conversion, my ambient temps are all out of whack. So I need to find a suitable location to move this ambient sensor.
I’m wondering if on the ‘05-‘06 the sensor is located elsewhere from the factory, since it has efans already..? Or perhaps a rig that was originally shipped with the efans, as well as a factory trans cooler..?
Any recommendations are appreciated!

Thank you! So, 2005, had efans from the factory.. that looks like a Trucool, so guessing you upgraded. Did you have a trans cooler from the factory? Is that the stock location? And most importantly.. are your ambient temp readings accurate..?

Picked up a pair of Denali projector housings and all the HID connections, yesterday, for $50. I also picked up an overhead console with both garage door buttons and a sunroof button for like $30 (I plan to use the sunroof button for another project as my Silverado does not have a sunroof). Picked up a new AC head unit for $20 (the one on my wife's Suburban has burned out bulbs and is causing her problems -- she can't remember the unlit controls control everything -- she keeps trying to control everything with the front passenger only controls). I picked up an -01 or earlier overhead console, in case I don't decide to stay with the other one I got ($20), and I picked up 3x front Airbag Sensors for $100. Now to get it all installed...
