Finally did some wrenching to fix the trans fluid leaking at the radiator. I replaced the radiator with a denso brand heavy duty while I had the engine out. It was leaking at the factory installed fitting. Quick and easy fix, right? Well, once you pop that fitting out, coolant starts pouring out everywhere. I discovered there's an oring that seals that off and the top one was torn. Went to taking the bottom out and noticed more coolant pouring out. Turns out, those two fittings are the only thing holding the cooler in the little reservoir. Thankfully I noticed before I got the bottom fitting all the way out...

I found some orings that seemed to be about the right size in an assorted pack of ac orings I had bought a while back. I also applied some high temp thread sealant at the recommendation of @iamdub. I let it come up to temp and so far, no leaks. Hopefully that's fixed and it will finally stop marking its territory everywhere I stop. The trans is still leaking but I haven't noticed it on the driveway so I think it's just a slight leak. Will investigate that further when I have time.

My fat ass fell out of the bed overnight and hit the floor. Banged my elbow and back up and nose hit the nightstand on the way down so that was bleeding all over. Lots of fun.

Snuck my wretched ass under the Tahoe and replaced the AC tensioner today. Tight fit into the garage! Part came with this tech bulletin in the box.

being large aside, a leading cause of death is from "falling out of bed" especially as we age, get a bed that is lower to the floor is my advice.

I was finally able to finish wiring up my light bar and fog lights to a switch panel I mounted in the overhead console. Came out far better than I anticipated. I’ve learned a ton about electrical work by getting these and other items hooked up.

Also, it appears I need to clean up some fingerprints…

Circumstances of Fall Deaths

ICD-10 codes were examined to clarify the circumstances of fall deaths. Of the 21,649 unintentional fall deaths that occurred in 2010, 35.3% occurred from falling on the same level (W00, W01, W18) and 6.5% from falling on or from stairs and steps (W10) (Table 1). An additional 4.4% of falls involved furniture (W06–W08), such as falling when transferring (e.g., from the bed to a chair) or falling off furniture (e.g., after standing on a chair). The circumstances for 49.1% of fall deaths were not specified (W19).

I completely understand. My dad fell out his bed last July. Fortunately he was able to get his cell phone and call me for help as his legs weren’t strong enough for him to walk with out a walker, let alone get up off the floor on his own due to excessive swelling as a result congested heart failure. I was able to get his 300 lb butt back into bed by myself using pure adrenaline. He was bruised up pretty good, but had he hit his head or not been able to get to his cell phone, not sure what would have happened. Unfortunately, he was put into the hospital the next day for his heart condition and swelling and never came home again.
