White Noise/ noise coming from center console

Hey guys, 2 part question:

1. My 2012 tahoe dash lights are always one, even on the am when it's bright out. My 2007never did that? Is this factory?

2. It seems like I have a noise/white noise sort of sound coming from my dash. Sort of like when you unplug your iphone from you AUX outlet to answer a phone call? Anyone ever heard of this? I swear it's on all day and I've had the newer truck for about a month now.

I don't have BOSE in my truck. It sounds as if the AUX outlet is one even when the stereo is off...

May have to pull the console and disconnect the harness and see if it goes away.

White noise comes from speakers however

Sorry guys what I meant was it sounds as if it's coming from the center. But it's all around. So it's the speakers. I'm familiar with the noise. Like I said, sounds as if I unplugged my iphone when I was listening to music, and that noise that is still on before I shut off the stereo completely. It's soo weird. Nothing is plugged in.

I had a similar issue. I was getting a hum when in Bluetooth only. I was also getting water in from a crack in the seam seal. Once I fixed the water issue the hum stopped.

Also could be a loose plug.

You think if I took the center console apart where the USB plug is and fiddle with that?

The whole center pulls out real easy. The trim is just clips and the radio Ect is 6 #7 screws.
