    Odometer said 132780 miles. I've had the Hoe for 4months now. I was expecting transmission to blew, but not this soon. I'm gonna have it rebuild with vette parts so it's gonna last so long as I have this truck.

    O2 sensor shouldn't be rattling, replace it and you also will get rid of DTC's

    Turn signal issues

    My tahoe had problems with turn signals at low temperatures (like -15F). There was a mysterious relay-box at left rear fender (all tow bar wiring went through it). I opened the box and it was full of water.

    04 Tahoe Steering Column Noise?

    Mine had the same noise that normally comes from intermediate shaft but didn't go anywhere even with new intermediate steering shaft (replaced for no reason... well at least now I have the newer version). The real reason that caused clunks, was the lower steering shaft.

    Yea, I can see line of clear coat. I have a friend working at a bodyshop who promised me to repaint the door next week and once the car is there, I'll get left rear fender and hood repainted also...

    I removed the door moldings and badges today. It was nice to notice that the right rear door was previously painted and when I removed the molding, paint peeled off... :(

    I bought my 2001 Tahoe 5.3 LT about 3 months ago. First 600 miles weren't so great, first my fuel pump broke down and few days later rear suspension air compressor went (luckily the dealer fixed these on their cost). Now the Hoe has been working like an angel for 3000 miles and I'm loving it...

    Another New Tahoe Owner

    Another newb Don't feel like starting new thread - change my mind and start a new thread. For slambin, I think the most common issues with tahoes are fuel pump and intermediate steering.

    Want brighter driving lights

    I have -06 Silverado's front fog lights in my -01 Tahoe. They had originally 9140 bulbs (only 37 watts!). I noticed that HB4 bulbs are direct swap and are 60 watts! That made a noticeable difference in light output.
