    eh.. it's the same thing.. today's key ign are just a switch that requests the bcm to start the truck and most newer keys have a rf chip in them of some kind. all the tech is there. may as well not have a key flopping around for no good reason. I'll take a push button over a twist button.

    very much but I agree it's very annoying dealing with the kid and carrying stuff while digging out keys to unlock, put them back, load and dig out again. plus it's the only car we have besides my old project car that still needs a key.

    they sell an aftermarket keyless entry with push button like normal cars. I thought about it, but mines a hybrid and enough of a electrical hassle. but if I had a normal truck I'd have already bought it. my wife literally hates the keys and talks about it about 3 times a day haha.

    if you have an air hammer and it's really stuck. there's a o2 sensor air hammer setup to break it loose too. I hadn't see that before, but the same concept is used for removing the mechanical fans that use one big bolt on that can be crazy hard to get off. they pop those loose easily.
