Funny part is wheels didnt get direct hit. Just some dripping crom body. Looks like someone use some kinda spray stripper and liquid stripper. Spray stripper damage clear coat and liquid stripper went all the way thru
Plastic pad on rear bumper is also demaged with liquid stuff and running boards

AAA insurance say Tahoe have to be stripped all the way and removed all trim pieces in order to paint again
Thats how they got $10k in repair

Police said that i dont know what day happened since i left on sunday and got back on next friday. Also they say its private property and i should talk with parking lot owner and get surveillance footage. But owner only have one camera that covers his building. You know how fast is the police to found out who did this.
Either way i had to go thru my insurance and pay $500 deductible

Either keep it and have it fixed,
Or total abd buy back...then work a deal for paint. If you can afford to have some down time, and do trim removal your self...you will come out ahead.

I can do all mechanic stuff all day long but im not that good at body work

I can afford down time since i drive Tahoe on weekend only, even i do t want to drive anything since after 5 days behind semi truck steering wheel i dont want to drive anything when i get back home, and who knows how much AAA is gonna want $$$ if i wanna buy it back

$10k isnt going to total it even if that is their estimate. Shit, throw it on the back of a Semi, drive it to Houston and Ill do the body work for a fraction of that! Id just pay your deductible, paint it, and mod it.

If they cut you a check for 10k, you would be a whole lot ahead. I would vinyl wrap it and pocket the other 6k and possibly pay the Hoe off.

Pay truck off take what's left and pant or wrap it. Definitely not a 10k job.

When i have extra cash laying around my wife make joke "how many windows did you open this time on your phone" She is referring to gun websites
So yeah me and cash do go together lol
It will be nice to have newer vehicle but having another full loan will sux. Having Semi and trailer isnt cheap. Yeah Semi makes money but when needs repair, it takes alot $$$ to put it back on the road.
Since Hoe will be paid off at beginning of next year, i think i should just repaint it and keep it
I may pay out of my pocket for the new LTZ rear bumper and hitch cover and new Yukon Lift gate applique, maybe do rear wiper delete and have body shop paint it at the same time
And just keep modding
