Got around to installing the secure idle over the weekend, took a lil bit longer then I thought it would take to install mostly trying to find a good place to zip tie the box didn’t want it in there loose banging around, so I removed the knee brace and was able to find a hole in the dash brace and zip tie one end there and the other side around the steering shaft tube, it doesn’t rotate the steering shaft goes inside of this metal tube in this part of the dash it’s a common place to zip tie it, usually they just throw it up under the RH side of the dash but I wanted the button on the LH side of the dash so you can hit it with one hand and remove the key with the other

I did mine for thecopcar last weekend as well. I put the button inside the worthless cubby, to one side in case I ever want to add something else.

Thanks. I didn’t want to drill the dash. Also thinking hidden buttons are kinda cool.
No problem, on the Vics where I put mine on the LH side they had the option for adjustable pedals and traction control someone I know from one of the Vic pages on FB took a traction control switch equipped LH dash panel and wired the secure idle button to that talk about a slick setup
