i would like to mention this is definitely vehicle specific on the octane and such. e85 aside there was actually a study done by motor trend regarding octane ratings and newer cars. they tested 5 vehicles i believe and seen varying results. one make/model actually got less mpg and power on 93. one had noticeable gains across the board. i don't recall the stats on the other 3 but just commenting. if you decide to make a change make it on a full fill up run it then see what you got. i also suggest atleast a second tank to compare your first results.
