I hate the idea of turning my AFM back on after it being off. I really hate the idea of turning it on for 150 miles... :(

Maybe it will be the fuel pressure. :)

You can always buy a Range disabler and then sell it here on the forum...

Or you could wait until my fuel pump gets swapped and see if it clears up my issue and then you will know.

On another note, thinking about the new fuel pump...

Do you think I should use the Tech2 to reset the fuel pump trim and/or the LTFT/STFT/E% after the new pump goes in or should I just wait and see if everything recalibrates itself???

@swathdiver is there anything you have seen in the service manual that tells you what the proper procedure is after a new pump is installed?

I can go pilfer through the service manual myself, I just thought maybe you might know off the top of your head.

I wouldn't change too many things at once.

Actually, I was just wondering if I had to worry about fuel trims and calcs resetting, given I only used the AFM Disable function. I didn't use their canned tunes.

This is what I am thinking too, I just wasn't sure what the service manual said as I haven't dug into it yet. I am certain there is a "proper procedure" for swapping the fuel pump.

I thought you had a custom tune from Lew?

No, just used the Diablo Predator to turn off AFM. When I said restore the tune, I was just referring to the firmware image being restored with V4 mode enabled.
