Thanks to @89Suburban, I now have OEM recovery hooks. It's not that I plan on needing to be towed. I just want it to be easier should the unthinkable hap- I mean, should I get what I deserve:
I was all ashamed because I didn't have the black trim keeper inserts to send with them but I see you have them!!!!

And I had to pop one out to get the hook of the tow strap into the frame when my friend dragged me home that night. I'm now better prepared.

I think it's a 4WD thing. Maybe on the 2WD Z71 or if special ordered on a regular 2WD.

PPVs don't have the hooks.
Those openings in the bumper are where the push bar mounts.
I hope I can just grab these hooks from the junkyard and install them.
