Need help with 2010 Hybrid Escalade

huh. yeah, the 9v seems low, but if the battery is new that kinda rules that out. it if an actual CAN BUS Communications faul, which with such random codes like the power windows lost memory it could well be. that's very hard to trouble shoot and repair yourself without experience and the correct high level scanners and wiring diagram software. which leads me to ground being the only hope of a eazy fix.

i did finally get a chance to get a pic of the ground cable block attachment point that seems to be a pretty common problem with all these year trucks, not just the hybrid ones and especially up north. it's a pretty big deal as it's the block and driver side coil pack ground point, this pic is looking straight down from the #1 plug front drivers side. it's worth taking off and cleaning if you haven't even thou I know you've made one. I keep coming back to grounds cause I've seen them do so many random things.

Ok, I will give a shot tomorrow. I ordered some sockets and torque ratchet. I will let you know how it went. By the way what about the opposite side of this cable where does it go??? Maybe I should clean it too.

you know, I'm not sure. I always figured it ran to the neg battery terminal. but I'll have to take a look.

Ok, what is done today: removed block to firewall my auxiliary cable, wiggled mash ground cable, resecured it's grounding positioning on firewall, had loose bolt. Managed to achieve 10v on the system. Still had issues with Stabilitrack. I run cable from block to the negative terminal of the battery, checked brake fluid tank, maked sure it's tight, checked it's sensor and connector. Disconnected and reconnected 4 coils on driver side. Drove it with Stabilitrack around the block, I had to move vehicle anyway, tomorrow is street cleaning. After I parked, upon checking obd, I had 14.2 volts in th system. Got check engine light, that is something new. Stabilitrack still not functioning. I disconnected battery negative terminal and left it till tomorrow. I will order new brake pedal sensor and try it again.
P.S. I couldn't even move that ground bolt , it's so frozen I would need a impact gun. Brake pedal sensor was replaced like 8 months ago.

hopefully it runs better tomorrow.

man that bolt shouldn't be that tight. mine wasn't when I cleaned mine. but I was under the truck doing a water pump replacement. so I could reach up for good access.

does leave me wondering if it's tight because of corrosion and rusted up making a bad electric connection. if you look close there's a smaller wire behind the big wire on that bolt, that's the ground wire for the coil packs on that side. you probably don't have the tools and terminals handy to just cut the wires and crimp on new terminals and move them to a fresh near by bolt. my worry is if you could get an impact on that bolt that it would snap before coming loose.

Nothing has changed.So far I think my caddy bricked itself. So far am so pissed about myself and all this situation that I want to call donation truck and drop it for good.

Ok hopefully I won't get sick after this. It's been hard. But I did it. I heated bolt with torch lighter and managed to undo it. I cleaned terminals also I slightly sended them for better contact, also I sended the bolt head and it's washer. I added some extra ground cables. And relocated that mesh cable on firewall. Also I changed some coils. Still misfire. I added some dialectical grease on those grounding wires and I also sended down it's mounting place on a block.

After that I got new stuff. Usually Stabilitrack appeared only when I pressed brake pedal. Now even how long would I keep battery disconnected it would come up right there as soon as I start vehicle. Also I checked some fuses for abs, they seemed to be fine. I checked level of DOT3 it fine, checked and cleaned sensor connector, that not an issue. I tried disconnecting those hoses first one on a top, which clicked back with no issues and than the bottom one. My battery is 10v I managed to boost it to 11.65, but when I removed jumper cable it started to stop 20 mamo per second. That's a lot. I need a mechanic shop ASAP. SOMETHING IS WRONG. How come I parked and this thing just happened next morning. WTF. I HAD A CHANCE TO DROP THIS VEHICLE LAST WEEK ON FRIDAY, BUT MY WIFE HAD DIFFERENT PLANS , SHE CALLED ME ABOUT ASAP HELP WHEN I WAS AT THE DOOR OF DEALERSHIP. Now I'm stuck with this Cadillac. I cannot go anywhere. All shops closed, NEW YEAR EVE. Nobody would take it till next middle of the week.

it looks like you got it nice and clean.

does it still sound the same as in that video?
