and onto trying to remedy the belt bs...took the bracket for the alt off and drilled a few holes in it to place an idler pulley onto. I have the smooth one and a grooved one from a tensioner depending on which way works better (inside or out). Waiting to get new cover and get the balancer back on to see. the belts I've been using are 6 groove, but a little bit wider than the stock belt so I dunno...ill keep trying.

Don't worry...i am still having problems

Belt throwing tore up the front seal, kinda sucks but no big deal I had another seal here.

Took off the charge pipes, belts, balancer, went to take the seal out and grabbed it a little too deep. Put a slight knick into the housing, its technically behind the seal but I bent it forward a little...let me just give 'er a few tappy taps so the seal will sit flush :doh2:
The softest aluminum known to man decided to chip off, it stayed in the cover tho...ordered a new one yadda yadda

lol yep, was going to smooth. went from just having a little "slit" where the seal puller went through it if it had straightened out without breaking i would have just thrown the seal in it and hoped for the best. but not with that much of it missing. dont feel like putting it back together just to find out it still leaks

Is this where the gmt800 ac tensioner bolts too? Looks like my bracket has the provisions for it. Figured I could give it a shot need a new belt anyway tensioner is only like 20-30bux
