Yes I did the 6.0 swap. It was super easy. Just had have the computer flashed for the 6.0. The biggest difference is the camber size between the 243/799 heads and the 317 heads. 243/799 heads have a 64cc chamber and 317 heads have a 71cc chamber.
Are your patriot heads ported stocks ones? My ls1 in my camaro is stock internals. Has a fast 92/92 intake combo , lt heads , ory , magnaflow catback , clear lid , and a 100 shot of nitrous. Traction sucks though...lol.
I wish I knew more about the heads on my corvette. The former owner liked to build fast cars but I dont recall exactly which heads he put on. Just that they were from patriot. Personally I would have preferred AFR but $$$$

LT1 and my 94 camaro gave me the tinkering bug. Honestly, I enjoyed the Camaro more than the Corvette. Vette is more capable no doubt, but Camaro was a blast. I just loved that car and was super practical aside from adismal traction in winter / completely worthless. Covette is even worse in that department. I have to pull over if it starts to rain.
