So pretty much if I lay on my back under the back bumper I should see the clips and just use pliers to undo them? I don't actually have to remove the bumper

Here is the hole pattern for the step pad. Every one of those little rectangles is a clip.

Then, of course you've got the bottom piece to deal with as well. It took me maybe 15 minutes to yank the bumper first.

Better luck is to take it of to try and remove it. I know for a fact laying under it to try and remove it is a pain

Get some components and add a sub in the rear. You need that mid bass to fill in between the highs and lows
Ok. How do you think an 8” would sound in the stock location. I’m gonna power it with an amp but I’m trying to keep it clean and don’t want to have a box in the back

Thanks. Maybe what I'll do since it's holding in there now I'll wait till it's warmer out to do it to repaint the bumper pad and do it all at once

Also thanks for the picture

Are there clips under it for the bumper cover?

Nope. The cover is held on by the black pieces. Here is the cover :

You can see all those holes line up with the ones in the bumper and the clips on the black pieces just go through both.
