What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

once the gauge is added the eprom on the cluster needs to be flashed to make it work, the sensor is already in the transmission on all the suv's and pickups. In addition if you swap the cluster in from another vehicle it needs to be programmed for you vin & mileage, one may work by just plugging it in but it may work properly until it is programmed to the vin
Thanks, I also reached out to Digital Dash Solutions and he confirmed that once the cluster is programmed it is PNP.

Also just noticed you're in Stockton. Im just south of you in Livermore.

If it doesn’t work all you need is a flash but I’m not sure what needs to be flashed, don’t you know Tony?? Isn’t it the cluster itself ?
If you get a cluster that already has the trans temp gauge, it should be good to go. But if course, you’ll want to have VIN, mileage, etc.. programmed.

I was late to the party. Lol.

What was the issue you were having? Was that under "Special Functions"?
My recirc. door doesn't move at all and Tech2 gives DTC B0229 - Recirc. position feedback circuit range/performance. I'll have to double check, but you go under BCM/HVAC and can look at DTC's and perform Door position tests. Everything looks good, except the recirc. door doesn't move. Hoping it's just the actuator and not the door broke or a short in a wire. When I press the Recirc. button on the control head it stays lit up, but the door doesn't move. No clicking sound or anything.

Recirc door actuator is behind the airbag on the passenger side.
That ones hard. I did mine by partially removing the dash ( the actual dash, not just the cover) and prying it up with a piece of wood to give me just enough room to unscrew it. Service manual calls for complete dash removal, about 6 hrs or more to R&R. Good luck. ;)
