Thank you! So, 2005, had efans from the factory.. that looks like a Trucool, so guessing you upgraded. Did you have a trans cooler from the factory? Is that the stock location? And most importantly.. are your ambient temp readings accurate..?
You’re welcome! My truck is 100% stock from the factory, I haven’t added or changed anything. My ambient temp readings appear accurate.

Edited to add: yes, it had efans from the factory.

Feel like I just scored decently! Got both for under 75.00! Does anyone know if the dorman overlay is a blue film so I can do white leds?

Thanks much brother. I’m in the Denver area.
Only place that I would think is the closest to you would be:
RICO AUTO COMPLEX
501 W COAL AVE.
505-722-2271
They show to have 2 of that hose in stock. Maybe they'd be willing to ship.

If not a dealer from:
Sunset Auto Center, INC.
1300 North H St.
Lompoc, Ca
805-736-7577
They show to have 1 in stock.

Gah, I guess I'll have to check the alky sensor. I have been running only e85 for the last year. Only put 1200 miles on the truck in that time, though. I like the peppier fuel maps/tables on it. :D
I was damned near empty when I put 10 gallons of "e85" at premium price. Drove about 50 miles on it and just pulled this:

So, I remember reading about people needing to relocate the ambient temp sensor, after installing the Tru-Cool 40k… I didn’t see any need after the cooler install, as my temps were within 1° of actual.
However, after the efan conversion, my ambient temps are all out of whack. So I need to find a suitable location to move this ambient sensor.
I’m wondering if on the ‘05-‘06 the sensor is located elsewhere from the factory, since it has efans already..? Or perhaps a rig that was originally shipped with the efans, as well as a factory trans cooler..?
Any recommendations are appreciated!
you can move it anywhere around the front wherever the harness will reach, if needed just drill a hole for the clip, typically it just goes on the radiator support somewhere

e85 is hardly ever full 85%. why ppl tuned for it and only run e85 buy a test kit to see how much the % is. the flex fuel sensor is nice cause it will compensate for the %.

if thats the tech 2 program on a pc, you should be able to reset the content sensor. sometimes they go out of whack and the fuel trims start going nuts and it runs like crap for no reason when its needed.

Ground down the pad for the panic button on my new ‘15 style fob case. I forgot to do it after installing it a couple weeks ago and mistakenly set off the alarm a couple times. I never have used that feature except by mistake and it always ****** me off. Now it won’t work no matter how hard I press the damn button.

Don't reset the composition if you know that it's mostly alcohol...
