Usually my Yukon waits for me to fix something before something else breaks. My new O2 sensors arrived on Friday. But before I could install them, the left turn signal has started hyperflashing. No bulbs burned out. I'm hoping it's a loose connector, or a bad resistor in my aftermarket taillight. But there's something else. The turn signal works normally for two flashes before going hyper. That's probably not a resistor, I'm thinking.

if you still have the oem light or bulb you can confirm easily by reconnecting it
I have the OEM taillight assembly. But it's in a box, behind some stuff, under some other stuff, in the shed, way out back. When it quits raining (someday), I'll crawl under there and check the connections. The resistors that came with these lights unplug. So if I can pry the 3M VHB tape loose, I can swap them side-to-side to see if that makes any difference. And if so, I can measure the resistance to buy a replacement. Looks like the seller is no longer around, so I'll have to reverse-engineer something in that case.

What did you do to rebuild your rockers? I’m thinking that could be brass from the bushings most upgrade kits use, maybe you pressed one or two too tight.

I used this: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/sme-143002

I did have a few that could have been too tight, instructions were pretty lacking.
it took me a few tries before i had it fully figured out.

this was me last night...
gave away my wife's old car to her little sister...
lots of beers involved.
I might have slapped her butt (sister not wife) a few times last night.
I'm making sure the wife apologizes for me... :oops:

Found out their neighbor who is a tow truck driver (yuk), has been a total d bag since she kicked her last boyfriend out.
Guy pulled up on our car that was right at the property line, and blocked us from accessing the back of the car.
Then they told me the story's of his hijnx...
I might have helped sparked a little something... whoops!
:rolleyes:

it was a good time overall.
:yaoface2:

Wife will probably use last night as a reason why i should listen to her when she says "ok enough beers for you" or something silly.
:okay2:

you just need a 5/6ohm resistor, I bought some of these and when one of my other crappy ones burnt out I just cut the wires, wired it inline and screwed it on to a metal surface (they get hot) and it has been fine since @kbuskill knows about this stuff

Any thoughts on a 6.0 ls swap?
6.2 = $$$
5.3 = cheap
6.0 is real close to 5.3 money...

5.3 is ok on the top end, but low end sucks.
After the cam swap i think the low end got a little worse.

in the end i just need this fker ready to haul a boat up the canyon by late spring.
