I saw that one in a F150, it threw me off for a second, I looked at it and then realized it's an oversized single din. IMO if you're going double din, might as well go with a touch screen. They sell these all the time where I work at PT. It's got all the bells and whistles, granted it an off...
So I've got a new baby coming and I don't have the 60/40 bench so my next thought was throwing a jump seat in between my second row captains chairs, just wondering if anyone has done this before and if there are any fitment issues or bolting issues. Wife is gonna ride in the back with newborn...
Well that depends where its shaking from. Rear end or front. Check your control arms and ball joints. Jack one front tire up. Grab it at 12 & 6 and pull on it back and forth and do the same at 3 & 9. If their is excessive play then its the control arm and ball joint or tie rods. Wheel bearings...
If you don't wanna go on a hunt for a lite green wire then your best bet would be to tap into the reverse light wire at the taillight and run it all the way to the front. You have to run the rca so might as well run the reverse too no?
Your stock amp powers your door speakers and subwoofer. It's not intended for anything but that, you can do a subwoofer swap on the stock one to get a little more kick but definitely won't pick up your 2 10's.
Its a lot of work all that sanding to get a smooth finish. All you really have to do for paint prep on abs plastic is clean thoroughly with wax and grease remover. A few people say dawn soap but Ive been using duplicolor wax and grease remover and even the texture feels different. It like dries...
Have you thought about maybe a black bow tie with the neon color outline. And if you plan on keeping the side mouldings turn the chrome into neon color. Interior wise you can maybe get your center console wrapped in black vinyl "leather" with green stitching.
I personally think the new designs on them are pretty ugly. I think it kinda sucks too that they didnt keep the same face on the SUV's like the trucks.

I'm burning brain cell trying to figure out which way is best to integrate my 12 inch kicker woofer into the rear quarter panel where the 8 inch woofer used to be. Can't decide if fiberglass or wood would work best.
I like the escalade taillights too. My dad has a 96 sierra and its got kind of the same curvature so its got me me turning gears in my head. I've also thought about making my own but up top where the rear vent caps are.
Yeah I think too much sidewall takes away from the size of 22's and makes them look a little smaller. Im debating 22's or 24's. Im at stock height but I would like to bring the rear end down to match the front. Just another item on my to do list. It keeps growing.
How's the ride? I want to get some 24's but 35's on a SUV just sounds like a very noisy/bumpy ride. I'm looking to get the versante vt 228's in black. They look a lot like Irocs.
I would try plugging it in if I still had it but I tossed it in the trash along with the tape deck, Oh well! I'm sure I can find a car being pieced out on craigslist hopefully for 25 or less, ebay has em for around 40-50. Not willing to shell that out just to see if that's the problem. Hey 02...
Here's the front so far. Th vinly doors are a different process than the plastic dash and center console. If you just spray over the plastics without properly cleaning them then any little scuff will chip the paint. I havent been doing very many before and after pics but I will start just to share.
Ok so since you've unplugged your tape deck and still have sound coming out of all speakers then I'm guessing that its the rear audio controls that I've unplugged that caused me this issue. Anyone got any input?
