Scored a Denali cluster with trans temp for $60! Now to do the LED upgrade that I have on my current one.

Is the trans temp cluster just plug in/play? Meaning, can I just get any cluster with a trans temp and exchange it with my NONE trans temp cluster and it will work?

How does one program the miles as well as all other data from the current DIC onto the new cluster?

Any education on this subject will be appreciated, thanks. :)

Yes it's plug an play. No programming needed.

If you order the cluster from rockauto they'll program it for you. [emoji106]

THANKS.

And how do they program it? By the VIN#?

You don't need a VIN to program mileage and engine hours. They have an odometer affidavit to program. I believe they use a tech II scanner to program them, but you're probably best off contacting them directly for info on that.

last night was intake gaskets due to 2 codes for both banks running lean. after watching it come on and off with fluctuating weather temps and the beginning of a rough idle I decided it was time.

next on the list is a front axle shaft seal on the passenger side and then looking at my oil cooler /filter bulkhead to see where it's leaking from.
