    TPW delays?

    Yes LPO are dealer installed accessories or parts. Usually they are the biggest hangup for an order being accepted and are easy enough to be added after the fact if they are available by your dealer ordering them instead.

    You can't remove pieces from a package. You would need to get the individual packages that the reserve has included inside of it just without the sunroof at that point.

    The ultimate package isn't even being made anymore so not sure how they say yours is about to be ordered. Either way it will not have parking sensors and no sliding center console right now either. Two way lumbar is going to be permanent as they can't retro fit that.

    I haven't been able to see the 22 expedition in person but pictures seem like it's a pretty sharp looking ride. I still prefer the yukon but this waiting game and the pulling of all these standard items that we can't get back is killing me.

    I haven't been able to see a new 22 Expedition but I can't believe it would be that much different to a 21. I really wish they gave the option of a v8 but maybe in the future they will give more options.

    TPW stands for target production week. I would ask your dealer what the event code or status code the vehicle is currently in that way you can find out where in the process it is. There's threads on here that can tell you what each code means.

    Dealer removal of ordered/sold unit from their website?

    I've made phone calls seeing if a vehicle listed on their website is available and they tell me it's already been sold. I'll check again a few weeks later and the same one is still listed.

    I'm not trying to go to bat for the Expedition but you will get quality problems with any manufacturer you look at. I've been frequenting their forum and there's a lot of good things being said about it. Honestly, I really would prefer the Yukon but I just can't keep waiting and to top it off...

    It's an ID number. The numbers correspond with what's next to it for example 1100 status means the orders been placed but not accepted by the factory.

    I've heard good things about the engine but I just wish they gave options like they do with the F150's that way people can choose what they want instead of being forced into just 1. Maybe one day they will start to dabel in the turbo diesel relm as well... one can only hope.

    They had a redesign for the 2022 edition. I'm not sure what the 21's looked like but the 22's are actually pretty nice. I have a 17 F250 Platinum and you are right about those being outdated. Definitely an upgrade for interior design between my truck and the Expedition.

    Looks, engine options, and the capacity behind the 3rd row in nonextended versions are what really draw me to the Yukon.     They are selling it to me at msrp but I'm also getting more for my F250 on a trade probably because it's a Ford. What's nice is that I'm the only order for an expedition at this dealer so as soon as they get an allocation mine will be picked up. I'm really excited to see what the next few years...

    On a fully loaded expedition, the only option I wasn't able to get was the rear entertainment system... everything else was good to go through production. There were a couple items not being produced at full capactiy, but they were still going at like 70-80%.

    Put in an order for a stealth performance expedition today. The constraints on the yukons are making it impossible to get accepted by the factory. I still have my order in for the yukon so now it's just a race to see which one gets accepted first... and I'm really hoping it will be the yukon.

    I hear ya. I've already made a couple exceptions on mine but I want to drive something I actually want and not something I'll tolerate. I'm looking at possibly getting an expedition instead as one of my local dealers said they have one that should be here in May.

    You can get it from asking on their online chat, but they are a waste of time. They don't know anything and you can get 5 different answers all in the same day. Best way is to keep in connection with your dealership for updates on your vehicle. They should tell you regardless when it has changed...

    5 weeks is nothing... I'm 5 months in and it still hasn't been accepted by the factory yet. There's so many constraints that unless you pick out something without any bells and whistles, there's a good chance an item in on constraint and can't be made.

    Yukon Denali Reserve Package

    Correct, there isn't a ultimate package anymore because of the RES. Everything is exactly the same between both packages except for the RES. Because of everything going on with chip shortages and supply chain issues, GMC has pulled the RES from production for at least the remaining model year...
