    The cam is a non VVT cam. A 3 bolt cam and Summit did not send a cam plate?? or the 3 bolts or a timing chain or the right cover. I was depending on them to sell me the rite stuff. Shop mechanic sez it will need a tune to shut off the VVT electronics. Maybe a little tune to run better with the...

    Mine's in shop for DOD delete and a good torque converter (one recommended here).

    Shop got started on DOD delete with a Truck Norris NSR stage 1 cam. Engine is out. Gonna put a good torque converter in in hopes of saving the trans from trouble. New starter, water pump, oil pump , motor mounts etc......

    Yukon headlight switch question.

    I have a '12. Was told one could pull the headlite switch and remove the spring. Then it would do what you want. Too much trouble for me...anyways, on mine, I just pulled the fuse for the DRL's. Good Luck

    Looking for an alternative to new paint/vinyl for hood. Flood penetrol or similar?

    I had a tractor I did that to. The glare on a sunny day would just about burn my eyeballs out. Painful. After I sprayed it, it was cool as a cucumber (real cool). I bet you ain't got any glare problems with your truck. Looks good too.

    I don't know if I can return it. Hassle probably. It works now for the '14 Escape guess it's ok for the '02 F-150. It is just telling me I need the MX (upgraded version...not a download) to be able to do a top notch scan on the .12 Tahoe. BUT when I bought it I was told it would work on that...

    I have never had a transmission flushed. Have dropped pan and changed filter then refilled with about 7 qts. of oil. done.

    When I plugged into my Tahoe (2012) the thing tells me I need the MX for this vehicle. I bought the LX (cheaper) and for older vehicles on their recommendation ! Also, when doing wife's '14 Escape.....I had to buy a $14.99 download to get the good stuff. I am not going to recommend this scanner...
