Noticed my hot oil pressure does get pretty low. 25ish at idle. I am just using basic oil for now gonna change it a few times before putting synthetic in.

It pumps up immediately when hitting throttle but seems to cap at 50psi or so. Wonder if its the relief valve

The valve in the oil pan is supposed to pop off around 50-55. I don't know about the relief in the pump, and that depends on the spring used.

Im not worried about it, engine is as quiet as a mouse (for a cammed LS motor).

What is a little strange is the cam chops like it has positive overlap. Its -9, I was expecting more of a stock like idle. I wonder if the +7 advance makes it chop harder. I'll see if I can smooth that out.

Tomorrow is dry, so I will hook the wideband in and do some WOT tuning.

Did some WOT tuning. Didn't have much time, so just roughed it in. I was lean by about 10%, got that dialed back so it's safe. Did a little part throttle tuning as well, trying to raise spark in cruise areas to improve MPG. My DFCO doesn't enable at all, so I will need to play with that too to improve MPG.

Idle needs a lot of work coming to a stop, but its gonna be a winter wonderland here over the next week or more. I'll revisit once the snow is gone lol.

One thing that is terrifyingly bad about these truck tunes is the flex fuel is VIRTUAL. It will switch your stoich point around if it thinks the fuel composition is different. Very dangerous setting! I hope all you guys with tunes have this turned off or you're really risking a bad lean condition. Either turn it off or put a real sensor in.

I tried to take a video of 1st->2nd from a roll, starting in manual mode. I hammered 1st and my phone flew out of my hand and flew into the 3rd row seat LOL.
