One more question, i found a guy local selling 3.73 new for 100 bucks, w/ bushings and seals. But says its for a 7.5 rear. Isnt are rear 8.5?

He has an s10 or some shit. Don't buy used gears btw

well he says they are new, pic looks new, but price scares me, to cheap from what i see.

thats a GM car or S10, you need 8.5/8.6 rearend.

Thanks tracy, i wasnt sure, but didnt sound right, told the guy no. But on the subject of used or new, whats a good place to buy new, gm wants like 800 bucks, not worth that to me. hence looking at used ones.

On the gears subject, with my new trans swap 80e, Ill be running 4.56 gears on my 31.2" tires with a 3700 rpm stall converter. Just takes some balls and knowing what you use your vehicle for...

thanks for the 30 spline, i'll really look into it, this weekend. Runs good w/o the a/c on.. But i guess also, when its 105 out, nothing is going to take off. lol
